Substance use assessment pricing at Colorado Assessments is designed to be clear, simple, and deadline-aware for Colorado residents who need drug and alcohol evaluation documentation.
Choose a Standard Substance Use Assessment, a Comprehensive Substance Use Evaluation with report timeline options, or a Complex Forensic-Style Substance Use Evaluation for higher-scope cases.
Report timelines begin after the clinical interview is completed and all required information has been received. Rush timelines depend on appointment availability, clinical appropriateness, and documentation requirements.
Standard Substance Use Assessment
Best for common court, probation, DMV, employer, school, licensing, or personal documentation needs when no expanded review is needed.

Comprehensive Substance Use Evaluation
Best for clients who need more detailed clinical documentation, screening tools when appropriate, limited record review, or faster report timing.

- Telehealth may be available when appropriate and accepted by the referring party
Complex Forensic-Style Substance Use Evaluation
Best for complex or attorney-involved substance-use matters that may require additional sessions, records review, testing review, and collateral contacts.
- Minimum of three clinical sessions
- SoberLink, testing, or monitoring review when relevant
- Records review and collateral contacts when clinically appropriate
- Attorney consultation or court testimony billed separately
These services are substance-use focused. They are not child custody evaluations, Parental Responsibility Evaluations, psychological evaluations, competency evaluations, DOT SAP evaluations, parenting-time recommendations, or legal opinions. Final decisions remain with the court, agency, employer, or referral source.
Appointments require reserved clinician time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, are charged a flat $200 late cancellation/no-show fee.
