Complex Legal Matter Substance Use Evaluation

Best fit: higher-stakes or multi-party matters involving substantial records, disputed information, monitoring, collateral information, or broader legal complexity.

- Testing, monitoring, or SoberLink review when relevant

- Attorney consultation, preparation, testimony, and travel separately billed when applicable
Complex Legal Matters
Attorney involvement alone does not automatically make a case Complex.
A Complex evaluation may be more appropriate when the substance-use question involves extensive or conflicting records, multiple parties, ongoing monitoring, repeated concerns, family-law context, custody-related substance-use allegations, or reported safety concerns where substance use is part of the referral.
Colorado Assessments remains limited to the substance-use evaluation. This is not a CFI, PRE, child custody evaluation, psychological evaluation, domestic-violence risk assessment, parenting-time recommendation, competency evaluation, DOT SAP evaluation, or legal opinion.

Can a court-ordered evaluation be completed online?
Telehealth may be available when appropriate and when the court, probation department, attorney, or other requesting organization accepts remote evaluation documentation. In-person appointments are available in Englewood.

Comprehensive evaluations may have standard, Priority, and limited same/next-day report options. Availability depends on scheduling and receipt of all information required for the evaluation.

Acceptance is determined by the requesting court, probation department, attorney, agency, or other organization. Confirm any specific credential, format, telehealth, form, deadline, or submission requirements before scheduling.
Can I complete the evaluation by telehealth?
